The 22-year-old made seven appearances for the Tigers and kept four clean sheets after arriving on loan from Arsenal in mid-October, but was forced to return to his parent club due to a thigh injury.
Mannone, still sidelined, told the club's official website: "The Championship league is very tight and we just have one dream, to make it to the play-offs and push on from there.
"We are all thinking about that and working for that."
The Italian added: "I enjoyed my first time here and happily Hull and Arsenal came to an agreement and now I'm pleased to be back here with the group for the rest of the season.
"I had some treatment while I was back at Arsenal and I'm continuing that here now."
