Mann Out for the Season

Cruciate ligament damage, knee surgery and an achilles injury have limited him to just 14 starts for City in almost 4 years.

This season he's been on loan at Gainsborough Trinity to try and regain his fitness, but instead his injury nightmare continues after playing for them against Gateshead. The latest blow - a snapped achilles tendon - is expected to rule him out for between 6 and 12 months, meaning he'll almost certainly miss the rest of the season.

The midfielder's contract is up at the end of next season, and it remains to be seen whether or not he will stick it out that long or call it a day on his injury-plagued career.
