The 29-year-old winger, who has been at the club for 8 years, has failed to make the City squad this season but would welcome a chance at Oxford.

He played for the Oxes in a reserve match a month ago, and is hoping to possibly earn a longer stay.

"They said they liked me and said that I played very well, so it's just a question of if they're going to follow that up.
"Obviously, I'm not getting a game here at the moment and I'd welcome a chance to play some first team football.
"If that's at Oxford then I'd certainly a chance, but with the bad weather over the holiday period everything has been put on hold."

His place at in the Tigers side has been occupied by David Beresford and Rob Matthews this season, despite being given a new three-year contract in March.

A loan move would suit the injury-plagued midfielder in order to find his form and his fitness.
