Luton Down

The Rams beat them 1-0 at Pride Park courtesy of Lewin Nyatanga's first half goal. Derby go 2nd in the table, while Kevin Blackwell's side are 8 points from safety with only 2 fixtures remaining.

Luton were promoted along with Hull City from League One in 2004/05 and managed to finish 10th last season, but unrest at the club including the sacking of manager Mike Newell and selling numerous star players means that tha Hatters' stay in the Championship will last no more than 2 years.

The relegation battle is still very much alive for other teams all playing today though. Southend, 2nd from bottom, are away to Plymouth. Leeds go to Southampton, who need a win to keep up their play-off hopes. Hull City go to Stoke. Barnsley and Leicester, both 2 points in front, play Crystal Palace at home and Preston away respectively.
