Loan Moves In The Offing

Taylor revealed that forward Jamie Forrester is a target for a number of clubs. He's scored five times this season after being used mostly as a squad player, to add to the two goals he scored after joining on a free transfer from Northampton 14 months ago. Since the signing of Jon Walters and return to fitness of Danny Allsopp, the 29-year-old has struggled even to make the subs bench. However, Taylor is still cautious about letting him go.

"There are a couple of clubs who would like him on loan," said Taylor, "but I need to decide if I can afford to let him out. If I was to get an injury to one of the forwards I'm going to need him."

Meanwhile, Steve Burton is also attracting interest. The versatile defender is being linked with a loan move to Conference play-off hopefuls Shrewsbury Town, and is thought to be keen to move to get first team football. The 21-year-old, who came through City's youth ranks, has started just two league games for City, while he enjoyed a two-month loan spell at Kidderminster earlier this season.

Elsewhere, midfielder Stuart Green says he's determined to win back his place in the side after finding himself ousted by Junior Lewis, and wants to help City in their bid to win the Third Division title.
