Leicester v Hull

Last updated : 15 October 2010 By BBC Sport

Kyle Naughton - Sven-Goran Eriksson's first signing as Leicester City boss - goes straight into the Foxes squad for the Swede's first match in charge. Naughton is set for his debut along with fellow loan signing Curtis Davies, but forward Dany N`Guessan is out after suffering an ankle injury.

Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard is doubtful for the game against manager Nigel Pearson's former club.

Bullard is likely to undergo a late fitness test on his knee problem.

MATCH PREVIEW

Sven-Goran Eriksson's first match in charge of struggling Leicester coincides with Nigel Pearson's return to the Walkers Stadium, where he enjoyed great success before leaving to take over as Hull manager in the summer.

Pearson led Leicester to the League One title and then last season's play-offs. But their fortunes declined after his departure and Eriksson, the successor to Paulo Sousa, inherits a team that are third from bottom of the table and have the Championship's leakiest defence, having conceded 23 goals already this season.

But the former England boss also has plenty to work with. Leicester showed last term that they have quality, and despite their poor results this time around, they have had more attempts on goal than any other Championship side.

Pearson, meanwhile, has seen his Hull team win - and score in - only one of their last four games. But history is on their side, as the Tigers have won and kept clean sheets in three of their last four matches against Leicester.
