The forward was signed on loan by Jan Molby from Grimsby back in September, but has only found the net 3 times in 15 starts and 11 substitute appearances.

It's been revealed that he won't be signing permanently so he returns to Blundell Park.

Grimsby boss Paul Groves said: "Jevvo will stay with Hull until the end of the season and then he will come back.
"He's a Grimsby Town player and that is what will happen unless the board say different."

Should he make any further appearances for the Mariners they will be required to pay Everton more money as part of the deal agreed when he moved from Goodison Park two years ago.

Meanwhile there is talk of John Anderson leaving City. The centre back was left out of the squad today and is rumoured to heading back to his native Scotland. However, Peter Taylor denied any knowledge of interest from other clubs.
