Injury curse hits Bullard again

Hull manager Nigel Pearson has confirmed Jimmy Bullard has injured a different knee to the one that suffered cruciate ligament damage last season. Bullard, doubtful for Saturday's clash at Pearson's former club Leicester after missing training this week due to unrelated knee problems, missed over two months last season due to a cruciate injury sustained in early December. Pearson said: "He's doubtful for the weekend. It's not the knee he's had trouble with before but it's settled down." Bullard seriously injured his other knee, on his debut for Hull in January 2009, and was sidelined for nine months before returning at former club Fulham the following October.
