Hull v Ipswich

Last updated : 19 November 2010 By BBC Sport

Midfielder John Bostock will return for Hull City after serving a ban, while the Tigers also hope to include Kevin Kilbane following a back problem. But defenders Daniel Ayala, Liam Rosenior and Paul McShane are all doubts because of hamstring problems.

Ipswich defender Gareth McAuley remains sidelined with an Achilles injury, while Darren O`Dea has a hamstring strain and looks likely to miss out.

Mark Kennedy (hamstring) and David Norris (ankle) are also absent.

MATCH PREVIEW

No team outside the bottom three have won fewer matches this season than Hull, who have managed only four victories. The most recent one was last weekend, at fellow strugglers Preston, and the Tigers will be hoping that signals an upturn in their fortunes.

But just as their previously dismal away record is beginning to improve, City are now struggling at home. They have lost their last three matches at the KC Stadium and have scored only five league goals at home this season - fewer than any other team in the division.

Hull are only one point above the relegation zone and badly need to get their season going, while Ipswich have slipped down to 12th in the table after back-to-back home defeats.

Town's first-half performances remain a concern for manager Roy Keane, who was angered by their display in Saturday's loss against Barnsley. Only four of the Tractor Boys' 20 league goals so far this season have come before the break.
