Tigers could call on Bruce
Hull defender Alex Bruce is expected to return to contention for the home clash with Charlton.
Bruce missed the midweek win over Derby due to a dead-leg sustained at Brighton last week and manager Steve Bruce must decide whether to recall his son or retain Corry Evans.
Boss Bruce must also decide whether to stick with the 4-4-2 formation he switched to at half-time during Tuesday night's win.
The Tigers manager discarded his 3-5-2 formation and after replacing midfielder Robert Koren and striker Jay Simpson with new signing Gedo and Nick Proschwitz, he was rewarded with an improved performance.
Gedo will be hoping to make his first start after scoring on his home debut against Derby, but defender Abdoulaye Faye (calf) and striker Sone Aluko (Achilles) remain sidelined.
Hull are chasing a 10th home league win of the season in a bid to stay in the second automatic promotion spot.
Charlton striker Danny Haynes is a major doubt.
The 25-year-old forward missed his side's 1-1 draw with Birmingham after he aggravated the recent hamstring injury that kept him out for the entire month of January.
Meanwhile defender Rhoys Wiggins could make his long-awaited return to the starting XI following a metatarsal injury.
The left-back was an unused substitute last weekend and is expected to be ready to start if called upon on Saturday.
Midfielder Danny Hollands remains unavailable with a foot injury.
Otherwise manager Chris Powell has no new injury or suspension concerns as his side go in search of their first win in four matches.
Midfielder Dale Stephens and forward Yann Kermorgant will hope to keep their places in the starting line-up after impressing upon their return last time out.
