Hull snap up NDoye

Steve Bruce made signing a striker his priority this month after watching his side slip to third from bottom in the Barclays Premier League.

The Tigers have the second-worst scoring record in the division and the Hull boss will be looking to N'Doye to supply the goals to keep the club in the top flight.

A tweet from the club, posted in the early hours of Tuesday morning, read: "We are delighted to confirm the signing of Senegal international striker Dame N'Doye from Lokomotiv Moscow for an undisclosed fee.

"The 29-year-old has penned a two-and-a-half-year deal, with the Club holding the option of extending that by a further year."

Given that the transfer was completed after midnight, Hull had to submit a deal sheet to ensure it went through.

N'Doye, who turns 30 in three weeks' time, had been at Lokomotiv Moscow for three years.

The striker's previous clubs include Academica de Coimbra, OFI Crete, Panathinaikos and FC Copenhagen.

Bruce told the club's website: "I'm delighted to have completed the signing of Dame and I'm looking forward to seeing him in action for us.

"He will undoubtedly strengthen our squad and add a significant goal threat."
