Hinds Signs for Scunthorpe

It was announced last month that the utility player wouldn't be staying with City after this contract comes to an end this summer.

Scunthorpe have always been favourites to sign him after he was loaned out to them, and they have tied him down to a two-year deal. No transfer fee is involved as the 24-year-old former Tranmere player is out of contract.

Meanwhile, the Iron have ended negotiations with Stev Angus, who was on loan to City from Cambridge for a time last season. Brian Laws says the defender has "a lot of baggage" and is carrying an injury, which have disuaded the club from persuing their interest in him. Iron-Bru.net reports that Cambridge have released his registration.
