20-year-old midfielder Fry has made 5 appearances in all competitions for the City first team, while first year pro Matthews is yet to make his debut. Both will use their month at the Shay to gain some experience.
City also currently have Scott Wiseman on loan to Rotherham until the new year, Mark Lynch away at Yeovil for a month, and young goalkeeper Curtis Aspden on loan to Scarborough.
