Peter Taylor had threatened to pull out of the game - the Tigers' first of pre-season - due to the possibility of being restricted to making six substitutions under new FIFA rules. However, his fears have been allayed and the match will go ahead, presumably with unlimited substitutes. It kicks off at 7:45pm and admission to Woodside Park will be £9 adults, £5 concessions.

It will be the first chance to see five of the club's summer signings turn out in a Tigers shirt, but Nick Barmby won't be in action. He's being rested due to a lack of fitness. Leon Cort is also out until the start of the season with a foot injury.

Jon Walters misses out due to a virus, while Ian Ashbee and Russell Fry both have Achilles problems. Michael Keane has overcome a back problem and will make his non-competitive debut for the club, but Delroy Facey (foot) and Roland Edge (knee) are possible doubts.
