The former Walsall striker, 24, has scored six goals in seven appearances since arriving from Leicester on New Year's Day for an undisclosed fee, including a hat-trick in Saturday's Humber derby win at Scunthorpe.
Fryatt said: "I don't think it could have gone much better.
"It's nice to come into a club and have such an impact straight away. I'm delighted about that.
"I'm pleased with how the team is performing and everything, so it's been a really good start for me here."
