Fryatt- Home win was overdue

The 25-year-old, a ?1.2million January transfer window signing from Leicester, took his goals tally to 13 for the season while the Tigers' first home win in five games - since a 1-0 success over Preston in February - lifted them to within two points of sixth-placed Leeds.

Fryatt said: "It was important to get back to winning ways because it had been a long time since we had won at the KC.

"It was long overdue and the performance was there as well. It was a good afternoon for us. It was good for me to score the goals, but as long as the team is winning that's the most important thing.

"We've been doing well away from home but it's been a different scenario here. It was good to change that on Saturday and hopefully we can build on it next weekend."

Hull have home fixtures against Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace to come and away games at QPR and Bristol City.
