In midfield, John Welsh returns, with Ryan France not making the squad. Kevin Ellison drops down to the bench, while Stuart Elliott didn't travel.
Strikers Billy Paynter and Craig Fagan both start, but where they will play remains to be seen. They could play either side of centre forward Jon Parkin, dropping back to the wings when Derby have possession. Both have also operated as out-and-out wingers before though, so Peter Taylor could play one of them there in a 4-4-2 system. Darryl Duffy drops out of the starting eleven but is an option from the bench.
Midfielder Russell Fry is named as a substitute for the first time in over two months.
