First Team Get Run-Out

In the first three friendlies a different eleven have played in each half. However, Molby is looking to step-up his preperations for the new season, starting at the McCain Stadium this evening.

He announced: "What we consider to be the strongest side will play a large part at Scarborough and a few may get the entire 90 minutes.
"We'll have to see how people cope on the night but I don't think you'll see seven substitutions.
"I've said it before and I'll say it again, we don't want to get to the start of the season and use the excuse that we're a new team if anything does go wrong.
"We have four good games coming up and will use them to crack on with what we want to go with on August 10."

He is expecting a good challenge from the Seadogs before taking on Grimsby, Bradford and Middlesbrough.

He said: "It's never easy going away from home to play one of the top Conference teams and Scarborough fall into that category.
"They'll be looking forward to the game, as we are, and I don't think for one minute that will be easy for us.
"But we don't want any soft rides at this stage of our preparation and I'm looking for the players to step things up from here on in."

Molby has made his (current) favourite eleven clear, and, fitness permitting, City are expected to line-up:
(4-3-3): Glennon; Edwards, Anderson, Strong, Smith; Green, Ashbee, Appleby; Dudfield, Alexander, Elliott.
Subs: Musselwhite, Whittle, Wicks, Petty, Greaves, Holt, Williams.
