The left-sided forward hasn't been able to complete a full match for City since the start of December due to breathing problems.
City full back Sam Ricketts is in the Wales squad for the game.
Meanwhile, Phil Brown is hopeful of having Steve McPhee back in his squad for Saturday's game at Derby, but will be without Ian Ashbee due to suspension. Dean Marney and Ryan France also picked up injuries in the defeat to West Brom on Saturday.
