Duke Retains Place

Duke made his first start since December 2005 on Wednesday night, keeping a clean sheet against Crewe in the Carling Cup with Myhill rested. That performance has persuaded Brown to stick with him instead of recalling Myhill, who signed a new three-year contract yesterday.

Dean Windass and Nick Barmby return to the starting line-up in place of two of Wednesday's goalscorers, Michael Bridges and Steve McPhee. The other scorer in that 3-0 win, Richard Garcia, starts the match on the right-hand-side of a four man midfield.

Bryan Hughes is out through injury, so Ian Ashbee and Dean Marney start in the centre, with Stuart Elliott on the left.

Brown makes one change to the back four from Wednesday night. Sam Ricketts returns in place of Nathan Doyle on the right, while Wayne Brown makes his league debut for the club.

City line-up (4-4-2): Matt Duke; Sam Ricketts, Michael Turner, Wayne Brown, Damien Delaney; Richard Garcia, Ian Ashbee, David Livermore, Stuart Elliott; Dean Windass, Nick Barmby.
Subs: Boaz Myhill, Andy Dawson, David Livermore, Michael Bridges, Steve McPhee.
