He scored 13 goals last season, but has weighed in with only 2 this term after suffering with a lack of form and fitness. He started 46 games in the black and amber, and came off the bench 20 times.
He could be replaced by Sunderland's Michael Reddy. Peter Taylor has revealed his interest in the 23-year-old who scored 4 goals in 5 loan appearances for City last season.
