York Announcement Made
York City's big announcement was made yesterday, as Luther Blissett joins the backroom staff at Bootham Crescent. He will be the Minstermen's Director of Football, as well as helping out with coaching duties. See York City Mad for more.

Dawson Staying at Scunny
Norwich City have dropped their interest in Scunthorpe's star left-back Andy Dawson. He could now be set to stay at Glanford Park. See Iron-Bru for more information.

Dale Go For Simpson
Former Manchester City, Oxford, Derby, Wolves and Blackpool forward Paul Simpson has been offered the Rochdale manager's job. The 35-year-old scored 6 goals in 9 games for 'Dale after signing in March proving an instant hit.

Meanwhile former Hull City defender Richard Jobson has signed a new one-year contract with them.

Shaymen Attracting Interest
Two consortiums are thought to be interested in buying Halifax Town, who are currently in administration. The West Yorkshire club will return to the Conference next season after finishing bottom of Division 3.
