Clement In

He will be allowed to play in tomorrow's reserve match against Darlington, but the loan will not officially start until Monday, following the Championship meeting between the Baggies and the Tigers on Saturday. The loan will be for 93 days, which will make him eligible for the play-offs should City qualify.

Having joined Albion almost 8 years ago, Clement is the longest serving player at the Hawthorns. He was a trainee at Chelsea and had loan spells at Reading, Preston, Brentford and eventually West Brom before making the move permanent. He's now 29 years old, and plays on the left side of defence.

Former Man United, Blackburn, Leicester, Portsmouth and Nottingham Forest defender John Curtis is also training with City having been released by QPR. Phil Brown could sign him up if he's impressed.

Meanwhile, David Livermore has revealed to the Yorkshire Post that he will not be returning to the club. He's currently on loan at Oldham after being told by Phil Brown that he would not play for City again. 2 further City appearances would trigger an automatic contract extension, but Brown does not want him in his squad for next season.
