City Still Chasing Parkinson

Colchester say that the original offer from City was "modest," but the Tigers are reported to be upping their offer to persuade the U's to let go of Parkinson.

The Essex club are seeking a court injunction to prevent Parkinson from talking to other companies, and hope to negotiate with him to keep him at Layer Road.

City called Colchester chairman Peter Heard's actions "vindictive" after he refused to accept Parkinson's resignation or the offer of compensation.
