The Yorkshire derby between Hull City and Bradford City on Tuesday 31st August will be shown live on Sky Sports. Kick-off will still be at 7:45pm as planned since the re-arranging of the fixture from Bank Holiday Monday when the two cities' rugby league counterparts, Hull FC and Bradford Bulls, meet at the KC Stadium.

The football match will see local hero Dean Windass return to Hull - for the opposition - after he turned down a move to Darlington. Fellow ex-Tiger Wayne Jacobs, now in his testimonial season at Bradford, is also likely to play.

It is the first meeting between the Tigers and the Bantams since the controversial match in May 1996 when the visitors were allocated the whole of the Boothferry Park South Stand, the usual residence of many home fans. The game finished 3-2 to Bradford and was marred by pitch invasions and protests. The result secured the West Yorkshire side's place in the Division Two play-offs, which they won to gain promotion.

Meanwhile, City's first visit to Valley Parade since 1995 has been put back a day to Sunday 10th April (kick-off 1pm).
