The 6'3" centre forward passed a medical before signing a two-year contract to complete a £100,000 move from Stockport County to Hull City.

The deal has only taken a few days to wrap up, and Wilbraham says he's "really excited" to begin the challenge. He will train for the first time with his new teammates, as well as former Stockport colleagues Damien Delaney and Boaz Myhill, next week.

He is the eighth and final signing of the closed season following the captures of Michael Keane from Preston, Leon Cort from Southend, Sergio Leite from Charlton, Delroy Facey from West Brom, Roland Edge from Hibernian, Junior Lewis from Leicester, and Nick Barmby from Leeds. Leaving the club this summer were Clayton Donaldson on loan to Harrogate, Paul Musselwhite to Scunthorpe, Justin Whittle to Grimsby, Jamie Forrester to Bristol Rovers and Alan Fettis to Macclesfield, while Andy Holt also left at the end of his contract.
