City Not Taking the Mickey

The Independent says that City have made an official approach to Rotherham United to speak to their manager, Ronnie Moore. He could even be announced as the new Tigers manager this week, with City's potential luring him away from the Millers.

Meanwhile, Mickey Adams - currently Assistant Manager at Leicester City - is to become the Foxes' first team manager, with current boss Dave Bassett moving upstairs to the Director of Football position.

The former Fulham and Brighton manager had apparently applied for the Tigers job after hearing that he could be sacked when Leicester go down.

However, Foxes chiefs are promising him the post at Filbert Street at the end of the season.
