Ben Burgess - goal not enough for 3 points
Top scorer Danny Allsopp (groin) and star winger Jason Price (hamstring) picked up injuries before the game, but Ben Burgess and Stuart Green filled the void to put City ahead with just over half an hour played. Green crossed from the right, and Burgess headed home his second goal of the season from inside the six yard box.

But Orient equalised just before half time when Justin Whittle fouled ex-Tiger Gary Alexander. David Hunt's free kick beat Michel Kuipers for the sides to go in at the break level.

Stuart Elliott and Andy Dawson had chances to regain City's lead, but after Peter Taylor changed to a more conservative formation the O's had the better of the possession late on and City had to hold on to their point.

City line-up (4-4-2): Kuipers; Hinds, Whittle, Delaney, Dawson; Green, Ashbee, Keates (Webb), Elliott; Forrester (Melton), Burgess.
Un-used subs: Musselwhite, Holt, Fry.
