Yesterday City announced that two Scottish-based centre backs and two midfielders would be joining this summer. With Richie Appleby and Ian Ashbee the two midfielders and Greg Strong one of the centre backs, fans were left guessing as to the identity of the other player.

However, they didn't have to wait too long as today as Livingston's John Anderson was revealed to complete the quartet.

The 29-year-old helped Livingston to a 4th-placed finish in the Scottish Premier League last season, making 16 first team appearances. His two-year spell with them ends after they chose not to renew his contract.

Previously he spent three years with his home town club, Greenock Morton, playing 100 league games. He was a regular on their scoresheet, netting 18 goals in his time there.

His move to City is expected to go be completed over the next few days.
