City Get Port Vale Rematch

City knocked out the defending champions at the Northern Quarter Final stage in a 2-1 win at Boothferry Park last December.

Vale - currently 9th in Division Two - will now have chance to get revenge when City go to Vale Park on 22nd October.

The match has particular significance to Valients manager Brian Horton. He was player-manager for City in the 80s, winning promotion to the old Second Division in 1984/85.
