Changes for Bradford PA Trip

Last updated : 17 July 2002 By Andy Beill
New midfielders Stuart Green and Richie Appleby are likely to make their first appearances for City. Green had a thigh injury and Appleby had blisters so the pair missed the first friendly at Lincoln United on Monday. However, Molby is hopeful of handing them their debuts tonight.

He said: "Both were disappointed to miss out on Monday because all the other five lads we've brought in during the summer played. However, they should be okay tonight and it will be good to see them in action."

Neil Mann is also hopeful of playing, though Gary Bradshaw and Scott Kerr will probably sit out again.

Molby said of Kerr: "Scott has worked really hard but we just don't feel he's ready yet - that's what the fitness people are telling us. He's keen but the worst thing we could do is rush him back too soon."

City's strongest eleven are expected to play the second half, with the Reserves on in the first half.

Possible line-ups (4-3-3):
First half: Musselwhite; Petty, Whittle, Wicks, Burton; Price, Philpott, Mann; Williams, Bloomer, Holt.
Second half: Glennon; Edwards, Anderson, Strong, Smith; Green, Ashbee, Appleby; Dudfield, Alexander, Elliott.
