Cambridge Game Gets Go Ahead

The game takes place on Saturday 3rd January at the KC Stadium, but would have been postponed if Cambridge had made it to the Third Round of the FA Cup.

But their hopes of cup glory were ended last night after Macclesfield beat them on penalties in a Second Round replay. The game ended 2-2 after 90 minutes and extra time, but the heroics of ex-City keeper Steve Wilson in the shoot-out saw the Silkmen go through after he made two saves. Town face Swansea in the next round while Cambridge get back to league matters.

The game is not all-ticket, but advance tickets can be purchased. The Ticket Office is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day but open otherwise. Tickets are also available online now from the KC Stadium Box Office website.
