He signed for Southampton in 2000, but never made it through to the first team. He made five loan appearances for Brentford earlier this season, before being told by the Saints that they will not be renewing his contract in the summer.
He is a left-footed midfielder, but can play up front. Along with fellow Aussie Jason Van Blerk, he will be looking to impress in his short time here to earn a longer contract in the summer.
