Burnley In Premier League

City survived the drop despite losing 0-1 to Manchester United as both Newcastle and Middlesbrough also lost. They join West Brom going down to the Championship.

Coming up will be Burnley, who beat Sheffield United 1-0 in the Play-off Final today, Football League champions Wolves and runners-up Birmingham.

Premier League winners Manchester United, fellow Champions League qualifiers Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal, Europa League qualifiers Everton, Aston Villa and Fulham, top-half finishers Spurs, West Ham and Manchester City, along with Wigan, Stoke, Bolton, Portsmouth, Blackburn and Sunderland make up the rest of the 19 teams playing City in the league next season.

The season will start on Saturday 15th August. The fixture list is expected to be published 3 weeks from now.
