Brown Gets The Job

Brown has enjoyed 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats as Caretaker Manager since Phil Parkinson got the sack. The 47-year-old former Derby manager has lifted the Tigers up 2 places in the table to take the side out of the relegation zone with 19 games remaining. If he continues that success, he could be given the job on a longer term basis in the summer.

Assistant Manager Colin Murphy, Fitness Coach Sean Rush, Goalkeeping Coach Mark Prudhoe and Physio Simon Maltby will remain in their current jobs, while a new Assistant Coach will be appointed by Brown.

He goes into his first game without the 'Caretaker' tag on Saturday in the FA Cup tie with Middlesbrough at the KC Stadium. He may be without goalkeeper Boaz Myhill, who went off during Monday's game at Sheffield Wednesday with a groin injury, and suspended duo Damien Delaney and Dean Marney.
