Brown Confirms Barmby Injury

Phil Brown told the Hull Daily Mail: "Nick will be out for between four and six weeks because it's his medials.
"But he proved a lot of critics wrong last year with regards his recovery from an impact injury."

Michael Bridges, who impressed after replacing Barmby on Saturday, is likely to take his place from the start against Wigan in the Carling Cup tomorrow.

Henrik Pedersen will also be in Brown's squad for that game, while Sam Ricketts returns from suspension.
