Brighton v Hull City preview

Lewis Dunk returns to the Brighton squad following suspension and should come straight back into the team with Romain Vincelot making way.

Winger Will Buckley has not recovered from his hamstring injury but is expected to be back within the next week. Defenders Adam El-Abd (foot) and Tommy Elphick (Achilles) remain sidelined with the long-term injuries they suffered at the end of last season.

Former Birmingham midfielder Darren Carter could be added to the squad after a two-week trial.

Hull midfield pair Paul McKenna and Tom Cairney are expected to return.

McKenna has missed the Tigers' last two matches due to a calf problem, while Cairney sat out the home win over Cardiff with the hamstring strain that forced his recent withdrawal from Scotland's Under-21s squad.

Both might have to be content with a place on the substitutes' bench following the display of Robert Koren and Corry Evans in central midfield against Cardiff.

Goalkeeper Adriano Basso is likely to shake off the knee problem that forced him off against Cardiff. Should he not make it, Peter Gulacsi will continue to deputise.

Tigers skipper Andy Dawson remains sidelined with a knee injury, but long-term absentee Cameron Stewart is closing in on a return to first-team action following knee ligament damage. The winger has yet to feature this season.

Hull are looking to extend their unbeaten run to seven matches.
