Bridges Recalled For Owls Match

Folan suffered injury in the first half of Tuesday's game at Wolves. His replacement that evening, Dean Windass, came on to score the winning goal before being forced off himself through injury, with Bridges coming on. Both players have failed to recover in time for today's Yorkshire derby at Hillsborough, so Bridges starts the match.

That's the only change made to the starting eleven by Phil Brown.

Henrik Pedersen is on the bench and would make his debut if he comes on. Steve McPhee also returns to the squad, with Windass and Folan not making the 16.

Youth team keeper Thomas Woodhead is included in the senior squad for the first time, with Matt Duke still injured and Curtis Aspden not included.

Ex-Tiger Richard Hinds is named as a substitute for Wednesday.

City line-up (4-5-1): Boaz Myhill; Sam Ricketts, Michael Turner, Wayne Brown, Damien Delaney; Richard Garcia, Ian Ashbee, Jay Jay Okocha, Dean Marney, Bryan Hughes; Michael Bridges.
Subs: Thomas Woodhead, Andy Dawson, David Livermore, Henrik Pedersen, Steve McPhee.
