Barmby Pledges Future To City

The ex-England international signed a one-year deal when he joined the club last summer. He's proved a massive success this season, appearing 41 times and scoring 9 goals. He's been rewarded with another year on his rolling contract to play in City's first season in the Championship.

Roland Edge has also signed for another year as his contract was also up this summer. He made 14 league appearances at left-back since signing from Hibernian, challenging Andy Dawson for his place towards the back end of the season.

This follows yesterday's news that Ben Burgess and Leon Cort have signed two-year contract extensions.
