Jon Parkin could come back into the side in place of Ben Burgess, despite his goal on Tuesday. Parkin could be partnered by Darryl Duffy, who scored the injury time winner in that match, with Stuart Elliott dropping out and Craig Fagan returning to the wing.

Nick Barmby could come back into the squad, and is likely to be on the bench after struggling with his first start in 7 months at Ipswich last week.

Mark Yeates still isn't fit enough to make his City debut, while Danny Coles and Ian Ashbee could make their comebacks from injury in the reserves on Wednesday.
