Allsopp Back In Firing Line

The Australian striker is now 100% fit after just four appearances in two months, and could rekindle his partnership with Ben Burgess in attack, which would see Jamie Forrester dropping to the bench.

Alton Thelwell is also back to full fitness, allowing Peter Taylor to pick his first choice eleven if he so desires. However, the form of Richard Hinds could keep the former Spurs right-back on the bench.

Taylor is likely to go with the same squad of 16 named in the last two games as City seek their fourth successive victory. Justin Whittle and Dean Keates will therefore be among the players not needing their boots this weekend, while John Anderson is definitely ruled out as he has a calf injury anyway.

Expected line-up (4-4-2): Myhill; Hinds, Joseph, Delaney, Dawson; Price, Ashbee, Green, Elliott; Allsopp, Burgess.
Subs: Musselwhite, Thelwell, Holt, France, Forrester.
