All three Hull Goals were poor.

After a faultless performance by Hull City at St James Park I wonder which three goals Pardew was referring to because they must have been related to a game other than this one.

It has been reported that Pardew had stated “All three Hull goals were poor but to give Hull credit, they played very well”

Well thank you very much for such high praise indeed Mr. Pardew. I suspect that Pardew meant that his criticism was aimed at the defensive manner in which the goals were conceded which is still debateable for the first two city equalisers but Aluko’s third goal, although I am not his biggest fan, there is surely no argument that any keeper in the world would have got any were near Sone Aluko’s well struck controlled volley let alone save it so it would seem harsh to point the finger at Krul in the Magpies net as making a bad error.

The day started with a jovial introduction at St James Park of the cast of “Auf Wiedersehen, pet” and ended with Steve Bruce auditioning for “Strictly Come Dancing” after City’s third goal as he skipped down the touchline at which point it really was Auf Wiedersehen, pet as City supporters waved a fond farewell to a mass exodus of black and white shirts pre final whistle.

City had the upper hand in the accuracy stakes and managed to keep 5 out of their 6 goal bound shots on target while Newcastle misfired all afternoon and had it not been down to the only 2 shots on goal by the impressive Remy, City would have had a euphoric 3-0 scalp but We’ll settle for the 3-2 victory as it not only gives us 3 valuable points it also ends a 26 game away run without a win in the Premier league.

In usual Hull City manner and well known to its supporters over many years we are on yet another season long roller coaster ride filled with anticipation and expectation and I dare say that the many more games to come will give us the unexpected highs and lows we have come to live with and so long as we have the same “do or die” never give up attitude we saw against Newcastle after coming from behind twice and then nailing a victory, win lose or draw, we are in for some great games of football that we as Hull City supporters can be proud of and of which Steve Bruce can add to his list of achievements.

After Steve Bruce’s already successful ongoing stint with City and accepted as one of us I think he should get rid of his Geordie accent now and become a proper ‘Ull bloke by taking a language course.

After me Steve…

Fern Curls – Made through KC

Radiur Umbersard – What some supporters listen to the Targers on

British Erm Stairs – Where one can pick up a bargain in the transfer window

Gorra curled – I appear to have a sniffle

Perp – Head of the Catholic Church

Gizzacrog – Could I trouble you for a lift on your bicycle?

Goan gerrided – You go and conceal yourself and I will try and find you.

No probs ittelbe farv nil  – We shall have no problem in beating West Ham five goals to nil.

All in all a great away performance underlined with 3 good goals.
