Gary Alexander - on his way out
Alexander didn't even make the bench for the game at Kidderminster, and the former West Ham trainee is set to return to his north-east London roots.

According to reports, the striker will join Leyton Orient, with O's forward Lee Thorpe moving the other way.

Alexander netted 20 goals in his first few months at Boothferry Park after moving from Swindon, but since the turn of the year he has only been on target 7 times.

He has been linked with transfers to Carlisle, Brighton and Rotherham, but Orient are the latest club to come into the frame.

Lee Thorpe - Jan Molby's latest signing?
The deal would see former Lincoln targetman Lee Thorpe come to Boothferry Park. The 26-year-old has matched Alexander's tally of 4 goals this season, while he has also collected one red and three yellow cards.

Thorpe was dropped from Orient's starting line-up for the first time this season, fueling speculation that he will leave Brisbane Road.

Jan Molby gave no explanation for Alexander's omission at Kidderminster today, simply saying that "all will become clear at the start of next week."

Meanwhile, Molby says that there has been no further correspondence with Carlisle since their approach to sign Matt Glennon on loan almost two weeks ago.
