Gary Alexander - on the move
Alexander's 23 goals won him the Player of the Year award last season after being bought for £160,000 from Swindon, but has failed to reproduce that form this year, netting just 7 in all competitions.

Peter Taylor has lost patience waiting for Alexander to find his scoring touch again, and after signing Jamie Forrester he made other clubs aware of the former West Ham trainee's availability.

Peterborough had a loan bid rejected, but Leyton Orient's undisclosed offer has been accepted, and the 23-year-old is expected to sign terms with the O's today.

Meanwhile, tickets for the local derby at Scunthorpe in three weeks went on sale today. 1,400 of the 2,100 seating allocation have already been sold.
