Questions raised by representatives of the Tigers Co-operative

What is the club's opinion of the Police and Stewards?
Around the table it was felt there was no problem with this - only possibly in area E1 where there had been problems with the fans. This area will reopen to pass holders only from the Burnley match (4 March)

Do the club feel there's any connection between the "meet and greet" from the Police and stewards and the lack of atmosphere?
See above answer

I have been to other clubs as an away supporter and been kept in the ground so that the home fans can be dispersed. Why can't the police do this at the KC. Let the City fans leave then let the away fans can leave with the heavy police escort?
The club think that present arrangements are quite adequate to deal with the exit of visiting fans.

What happened with the overselling of tickets at the turnstiles at Norwich?
The club has received no complaints about this.

Will there be no unreserved seating at the KC next season? Why?
Yes this will happen because at present only 90% of the unreserved seating can be sold. Any pass holder wishing to sit with anybody buying a ticket can arrange with the ticket office to sit with them. This should be done prior to match day if possible. This scheme has been operating for some time.

Have joint season passes or ticket deals been considered for Hull City & Hull FC matches? It's been suggested that our attendances are low this season because people can't afford to go to both the football and the rugby, and so this season some are going to FC/KR instead of City (especially because in the summer (pass-buying time) there was more buzz following KR's promotion while City weren't buying any players). Could it be made more affordable for fans who would like to watch City and FC? How about offering free/discounted tickets to some/all City matches for FC pass holders (and vice versa) to encourage people to buy passes and to continue supporting both teams?
The chairman does not see this as viable. He feels it would undermine the product and would not work.

Any progress on selling the replica match ball in the club shop?
According to Marketing Director, Andy Dawson this product is available in the Club Shop.

Other Matters

A proposed loyalty scheme for the allocation of tickets was discussed. The model proposed is that currently run by Wolves. The details are available on the Wolves' website (www.wolves.premiumtv.co.uk/page/LoyaltyScheme). There will be further discussion at the next meeting.

A new brewery deal is in the offing.

Pre-season matches not sorted out - the club has received many approaches for games; a match abroad is not ruled out.

The replacement of the pitch will commence on 26 May. 600 tons of soil will be removed.

KCFM Man of the Match texts generate a percentage for the football club.

Nike has taken over Umbro but the brand will remain and City will still be with the Umbro brand.

Season Passes will go on sale on 3 March. Renewal letters will be sent out in a week's time. There will be concessions to families to encourage attendance.

Not much take up of free travel to Colchester so far.
