Just over the train track from the stadium but completely lacking in matchday atmosphere. Without a TV showing the lunchtime match most fans are elsewhere whilst a few regulars occupy the rundown George pub.

In the evening there is cabaret, and during the week raffles and race nights are hosted.

The usual beers are available on draught. Soft drinks are poured from plastic bottles.

The beer garden is an interesting feature - it's an actual grass lawn garden. It has picnic tables, and speakers playing music. Smoking is of course allowed in this outside area, as are children.

However, the garden aside, The George came across as being in quite a sad state for a pub in such a good location to the stadium, and pre-match in particular has little to offer.
