Ellison Back For Leicester Return

The winger missed last week's defeat to Wolves due to illness, but is well again now. He made one appearance in three years at Leicester City, who were managed by Peter Taylor at the time he was signed. The current Hull City manager is making his first return to the club he was sacked from in 2001 and expects a hostile reception.

Alan Rogers is also going back to his old stomping ground, and could be on the end of a similar reception due to his Nottingham Forest connections. The defender plays his third game in Tigers colours as Andy Dawson is still at least a week away from fitness.

Yet another ex-Fox, Damien Delaney, will be in the starting line-up for City. He continues in the absence of centre back Sam Collins, who is reported to be out for the season. Taylor is looking to bring in a loan replacement but won't have anything completed in time for tomorrow's game.

Taylor must decide whether to stick with the 4-5-1 system used last week in a failed attempt to combat Wolves' similar system, or revert to his usual 4-4-2. It would leave fierce competition in midfield, with at least one of Keith Andrews, Mark Noble, Stuart Green or Ryan France being dropped. John Welsh is also in contention. He came on for the last 18 minutes of the England Under-21 friendly win against Norway on Tuesday, and is fully fit to return to club football.

Expected line-up (4-4-2): Boaz Myhill; Alton Thelwell, Leon Cort, Damien Delaney, Alan Rogers; Ryan France, Keith Andrews, Mark Noble, Kevin Ellison; Jon Parkin, Craig Fagan.
Subs from: Matt Duke, Mark Lynch, Scott Wiseman, John Welsh, Stuart Green, Stuart Elliott, Billy Paynter, Darryl Duffy.
